SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Sunday he plans to rename the aerospace firm’s artificial intelligence division to SpaceXSI, aligning with US President Donald Trump’s push to adopt the term “super intelligence.”

“Yes, we will make that change,” Musk posted on social media platform X in response to a user asking whether SpaceXAI would be renamed.

The statement follows a speech last month to the UN General Assembly where Trump advocated for updating official terminology. “From this point forward, all of United States documents, and hopefully the world’s will be changed to use the much more accurate term ‘super’ as opposed to artificial. So it’s super intelligence,” Trump said at the time.

Musk did not provide a timeline or further details regarding the rebranding. SpaceXAI’s account on X remained unchanged at publication, and the division did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
